How Depop fees work in United States

  • Selling fee: None. Depop stopped charging US sellers a selling fee on 15 July 2024.
  • Payment processing: 3.3% + $0.45 of what the buyer pays for the item, shipping and sales tax. Charged once per order.
  • Boosted listing fee: 12% of the item price, plus shipping when you ship it yourself (never on a Depop label). Only if the buyer found the item through your boost and bought within 28 days.
  • Marketplace fee (paid by the buyer): Up to 5% of the item price + $1, added at checkout. Never charged on shipping or tax, and never taken from your payout.

The buyer’s marketplace fee is a maximum: Depop shows the exact amount at checkout. It is refunded with the order.
