How Grailed fees work in United States

  • Commission: 6% of the sale price, minimum $1.99, when the sale price is under $120; 9% of the whole sale price at $120 and above. The sale price is the item price plus the shipping the buyer pays, except with a Grailed Label, where it is the item price only. Sales tax is never included. Charged in US dollars.
  • Payment processing: 3.49% + $0.49 of what the buyer pays for the item, shipping and sales tax on a US domestic payment; 4.99% + $0.49 on an international one. If you have not set up Stripe: 3.49% + $0.99 domestic, 5.49% + $0.99 international.

The commission rate depends on the whole sale price, so a sale at $120 can leave you less than one just under it: on a Grailed Label sale with no tax, $119.99 pays out $108.11 and $120 pays out $104.52.

With free shipping, Grailed takes the label cost out of your payout.

Grailed charges buyers no fee of its own.

Common questions

How much does Grailed take from a sale?
A commission of 6% (minimum $1.99) on sales under $120, or 9% at $120 and above, plus payment processing: 3.49% + $0.49 on a US domestic payment, 4.99% + $0.49 on an international one.
Did Grailed change its fees in 2026?
Yes. Since 20 May 2026 a sale under $120 pays 6% with a $1.99 minimum. Before that every sale paid 9%, and sales of $120 and above still do.
Does Grailed charge commission on shipping?
Not on a Grailed Label: the commission is on the item price only. When you buy your own label, the shipping the buyer pays counts toward the commission. Payment processing is charged on shipping and tax either way.
Why can a $120 sale pay out less than a $119.99 one?
The rate is set by the whole sale price, so at $120 the entire sale moves from 6% to 9%. On a Grailed Label sale with no tax, $119.99 pays out $108.11 and $120 pays out $104.52.
Does Grailed charge buyers a fee?
No. Grailed collects sales tax and import VAT where the law requires it, but charges buyers no fee of its own.
Does shipping to Alaska or Hawaii cost the seller more on Grailed?
Not unless you offer free shipping. Every sale inside the US, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico included, ships on a Grailed Label the buyer pays for at checkout, and no commission is charged on it. With free shipping, Grailed works out the label cost at the time of sale and takes it from your payout; it does not publish its label prices. Expedited Delivery is only offered in the lower 48 states, never to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
How do I ship a Grailed sale from Australia?
Grailed Labels only cover sales inside the US and from Canada to the US, so a seller in Australia buys their own label from Australia Post or any other carrier and sets the shipping price on the listing. The commission is charged on that shipping as well as the item, and payment processing is 4.99% + $0.49 on an international payment, in US dollars.
